Location All Portland classes are held at Avant Dance and Event Center

Foundation Ballroom 6-week classes are designed for people who have never taken a ballroom dance class. Three major rhythms - Waltz, Foxtrot and Swing - will be taught. Each class meets for an hour every week at the same time.

Foundation Latin 6-week classes are designed for people who have never taken a Latin dance class. Three major rhythms - Salsa, Merengue, and Rumba - will be taught. Each class meets for an hour every week at the same time.

Pre-Bronze and Above Level Classes are designed for people who have completed the Foundation class. Waltz, Foxtrot, Swing, Rumba, Cha-cha, Tango, Merengue, Mambo, Salsa, West Coast Swing, Hustle, Polka, Samba, Viennese Waltz are taught at this level. Each class meets for an hour every week at the same time.

Group Prices The cost is $80.00 per person for the course of 6 weeks. You may drop by for an individual group classes for $18.00 per person.

Private Lessons May be taken by a single person, a couple, or a group of individuals. Please call for our introductory offer and to schedule a time for your lesson. The cost is $90.00 per couple or a single for a 45 minute lesson which includes two group classes offered during the week. Group private lessons for 3 to 9 people are $120.00.

Wedding Preparation Packages We will help you choreograph your wedding dance and will give you the necessary dance skills to make you look great on the special day. The cost of the 5-hour package is $400.00 per couple.

Social Dance Party $15.00 per person. Social dance party is periodically, please check the schedule. All ballroom and Latin rhythms are played. No prior dance knowledge is required. Dance hosts are participating.
